Stunning Student Project
The Stunning Student project is designed for the class to know each student and for the student to reflect on his or her communities and interests. It counts as a test grade in Social Studies.
The project should consist of pictures or designs with labels in the following categories:
--self at different times of life
--family members
--religious community
--ethnic heritage
--groups s/he participates in (like soccer team, art class, recycling volunteer, etc)
--special interests and hobbies
Please make the project on a normal size poster to be hung on the board on the Monday assigned. Students may ask Ms. Sullivan for a poster paper or you may buy your own. The students should be prepared to speak in a loud voice about the pictures. The pictures or designs can be hand drawn or be actual photos or cut-outs. Please be neat and creative in decorating the project. The project should be made by the student, although the family members may make suggestions. Rubrics for grading will be handed out in class.
